Electronic Signatures

Indirect Procurement at Zalando has introduced an eSignature tool DocuSign to facilitate the contract signing process between Zalando and our external business partners.

When working with DocuSign, the signing request will reach all signers via email requesting them to read the contract carefully and sign it electronically. Fully signed documents are afterwards forwarded to all signing parties directly by DocuSign via email.

As a result, we fully abstain from working with the paper documents and therefore, further contribute not only to more sustainable business practices globally, but also to a continuous digitalization of our internal processes as well as higher process efficiency overall.

Electronic signatures are legally binding, and no physical document will be sent via post following the electronic signing.
